Resumo: | The objective was to estimate the willingness of visitors to pay for the maintenance of the Park Natural Municipal Recife de Fora (PNM Recife de Fora), located in Porto Seguro, Bahia. To this end, 136 questionnaires were applied, from November 2018 to February 2019, where socioeconomic segmentation variables were analyzed. He was A logistic regression was also applied to determine which of the variables influenced significantly in deciding whether or not to pay for maintenance of the PNM Recife de Fora. As a result, an availability to pay was quantified in 68.4% of the interviewees, in the amount up to R$ 10.00, which generally demonstrates the recognition of the park as an important natural heritage. those with greater level of education were likely to contribute with higher values and, among the variables that positively influenced the DAP (Willingness to Pay), the how much do respondents feel financially responsible for the park, suggesting that the feeling of belonging can positively impact postures focused on preservation of natural assets. The classification of the PNM Recife de Fora as one of the tourist attractions most sought after by respondents, also reveals the impact of the same in the community, together with the other information collected in this work, can generate subsidies for the evaluation, elaboration, improvement in the execution of public policies environmental, socio-environmental responsibility programs for the improvement of the park. |
